Crossing Volga in the evening

.. crossing Volga in the evening.. 3,5 km wide.. windy.. dark heavy clouds over our heads.. so strong stream...and it takes just 3 minutes in a modern boat! I remember the days when we were trembling during 15-20 minutes in an old slow boat while crossing the river..So many things had been thought before we reached at last the peaceful island [link]
